ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein is under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking, inter alia, issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents not to transfer the petitioner from Chandigarh to Jammu and Kashmir by considering her request in accordance with current transfer policy and by according her the benefit thereof. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.03.2020 (Annexure P-7) but the same has not been adverted by the respondents till date. Hence, the writ petition. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that he would be satisfied, at this stage, if a final decision is taken by the respondents on the representation dated 18.03.2020 (Annexure P-7). 4.

Mr. Shivoy Dhir, Advocate on service of advance copy of the petition joins the proceedings on behalf of the respondent Union of India and opposes the issuance of notice of motion.

Given the nature of order being passed, there is no necessity to seek return by any of the respondents as no further proceedings and/or pleadings are required.

Without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to look into the representation dated 18.03.2020 (Annexure P-7) and also by keeping in view the contentions stated in the present petition by treating the same as supplementary representation and decide the same, by passing a speaking order, in accordance with law.

Let the needful be done within a period of two months from today. Till passing of the fresh order on the pending representation, order under challenge before this Court shall remain stayed. 8.

Disposed of accordingly.
