This appeal has been filed by the appellant-husband challenging judgment and decree dated 25.11.2004 passed by the learned Additional District Judge, Mansa, whereby petition filed by the respondent-wife under Section 13(2) (iv) of the Hindu Marriage Act, was accepted. Perusal of the file reveals that efforts for an amicable settlement were made, but to no avail.

None has been appearing on behalf of the appellant since the year 2018 when this appeal was listed for hearing. Notice was issued to the parties on 19.05.20022.

As per office report, appellant refused to accept notice and affixation was carried out.
