Ritu Bahri, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the respondent to provide complete break up of Motor Vehicle taxes due after deducting the taxes for the period for which Government of Punjab has already exempted taxes. In this regard, petitioner has given legal notice dated 20.02.2023 (P-2) but no action has been taken till date.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Saurabh Kapoor, Addl.A.G. Punjab ,accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is being disposed of by giving direction to respondent to pass a speaking order on the legal notice dated 20.02.2023 (P-2) in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
