NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Learned counsel for the petitioners submits the only prayer made in the present petition is for issuance of directions to the learned trial Court to expedite the trial in case FIR No. 72 dated 26.01.2017, registered under Sections 323, 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station City, Thanesar. It is further submitted that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous and may be disposed of, as such, because vide judgment dated 02.11.2023, the learned trial Court had acquitted the petitioners.
Learned counsel for the State has not disputed the aforesaid submissions of learned counsel for the petitioners. In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
