Petitioners seek directions to respondent No.2 for protecting their life and liberty at hands of respondents No.4 and 5 and taking action against them.
As per reply dated 11.05.2017 filed on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, it is stated that the allegations raised by the petitioners were inquired into. An inquiry report dated 09.01.2017 was submitted by the Station House Officer, Police Station Jodhan. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dakha went through the inquiry report, visited the spot and conducted inquiry on his own as well. Filing of the complaint has been recommended as no truth was found in the allegations.
In view of the position as above, no further order is called for in this case. Needless to say, the petitioners are at liberty to avail any remedy/remedies as may be available to them.
Petition is accordingly disposed of.
