Mr. Umaid Singh Mann, Advocate for respondent No.2. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in respect of a case registered vide FIR No.64 dated 11.11.2018 at Police Station Women, Bathinda under Sections 498-A, 506 and 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner has informed that the parties have amicably resolved their dispute and have filed a petition for grant of divorce by mutual consent. The aforestated position is not disputed by the learned counsel for the complainant and he has categorically admitted the fact that the parties have resolved their dispute and have filed a petition for grant of divorce by Pankaj Kakkar 2019.08.21 18:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the aforestated position, where the parties are stated to have amicably resolved their dispute, the present case is not such which would warrant custodial interrogation. The petition, as such, is accepted and the interim directions issued by this Court vide order dated 10.12.2018 are hereby made absolute subject to the condition that the petitioner shall join investigation as and when called upon to do so and cooperate with the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
