Through the instant petition, as instituted under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks the concession of anticipatory bail, in case DDR No.35 dated 12.04.2024, under Sections 326, 324, 323 read with Section 34 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Gate Hakima, Amritsar, in FIR No.17 dated 30.01.2024, under Sections 364, 323, 324, 148, 149 of the IPC, registered at P.S. Gate Hakima, Amritsar.

The learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia submits that, in respect of a single incident which occurred on 07.01.2024, initially FIR No.17 (supra) was registered on the complaint of one Ritik, wherein, seven persons, including one Dharminder Singh, were nominated as accused, whereas, after lapse of approx. 3 months therefrom, the statement of one Manminder Kaur wife of Dharminder Singh (accused in FIR), resulted in registration of the DDR No.35 (supra) regarding the same incident. He further submits that no specific injury has been

attributed to the petitioner.

In the meantime, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation and to appear before the investigating agency, as and when called upon to do so. In the event of his arrest, he shall be admitted to interim bail on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting/Investigating Officer. The petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
