KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing due to prevailing situation of COVID-19.
This is a petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take legal action against respondent Nos.4 to 6 on the basis of her complaint (Annexure P-7) dated 25.01.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the concerned authorities to consider and decide the complaint dated 25.01.2019 (Annexure P-7) in a time bound manner.
At this stage, Mr. Amit Mehta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appeared on behalf of the State through Video Conferencing and submitted that he has no objection if such a direction is given to the concerned authorities.
Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2, i.e., Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda, to consider VIRENDRA SINGH ADHIKARI 2020.09.04 16:46
CRM-M-26259-2020 -2and decide the complaint dated 25.01.2019 (Annexure P-7) expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
