(Oral) This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to implement/enforce Teachers Transfer Policy, 2016 (amended as on 01.06.2017), and conduct the transfer drive accordingly. 2.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, submits that Teachers Transfer Policy, 2016 has been amended in 2023, but as of now department is not carrying out general transfer in terms thereof. The transfer drive is likely to be carried out in the next academic session, for which the schedule will be notified at appropriate stage.

In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
