LISA GILL, J. (Oral) The petitioner seeks a direction to the official respondents for protection of her life and liberty as she apprehends danger thereto at the hands of respondent No.4. It is further prayed that a fair and impartial investigation be carried out in FIR No. 27 dated 15.02.2017 under Sections 279/337 IPC registered at Police Station, Sector 11, Chandigarh. Affidavit dated 14.11.2017 of Shri Lakhbir Singh, S.H.O. Police Station, Sector-11, Chandigarh filed in Court today on behalf of respondent No.3 is taken on record subject to just exceptions. Learned counsel for U.T. Chandigarh submits that on completion of investigation, final report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. has been presented in the above mentioned FIR and as far as any threat to the life and liberty of the petitioner is concerned, in case any such representation is Rupinder Kaur 2017.11.17 10:21 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Crl. Misc. No. M-8496 of 2017 (O&M) [ 2 ] submitted by her before respondent No.2, the same shall be looked into and necessary action, if any/as may be required shall be taken for protection of the life and liberty of the petitioner.

In view of the facts and circumstances as narrated above, no further orders are called for in the present petition. Needless to say the petitioner is at liberty to avail any remedy/remedies as may be available to her in accordance with law for redressal of any grievance which she still might have.

Petition is accordingly disposed of.
