******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Present petition has been filed under Section 438 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of anticipatory bail to petitioners in case FIR No. 154 dated 18.11.2016 registered for offences punishable under Sections 323, 324, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code (for short 'IPC'), at Police Station Kurali, District SAS Nagar. Section 326 IPC was added later on. Heard.
Learned counsel for petitioners submits that the occurrence took place in a marriage party and there was no common intention, which can be attributed to petitioners. They have been attributed simple injuries caused by kirpan.
Keeping in view above facts but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed. Petitioners are directed to surrender before the police and join investigation within one week.
