H. S. Madaan, J. (Oral) Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Parkash Singh, from Police Station Kanal Colony, Bathinda, states that on conclusion of the trial, the petitioners have since been acquitted by the Additional Sessions Judge, Bathinda, vide judgment dated 23.2.2018.

Accepting that fact, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that she be permitted to withdraw the petition since the same has become infructuous. Allowed.
