DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) Status report by way of affidavit of Shri Varinder Singh Khosa, Asstt. Commissioner of Police (North), Amritsar City on behalf of respondent-State has been filed.
On 29.05.2023, following order was passed by this Court:- "By way of this petition filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.114 dated 15.04.2023 registered under Sections 307, 148, 149 IPC, Sections 25/27/54/59 of Arms Act, at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Police Commissionerate Amritsar. Allegations are that on 14.04.2023, petitioner and five others started arguments with complainant Prince and his brother Sooraj, during which co-accused Shubham Sharma alias Soobi fired shot from his pistol and the bullet hit the stomach of Sooraj. It is submitted by counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been wrongly implicated and he is the friend of the victim party; that some scuffle had taken place during which Shubham Sharma alias Soobi suddenly fired from his pistol.

Mr. M.S. Nagra, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent- State. Copy of the petition be supplied to him. Adjourned to 09.08.2023 for filing status report. CRM-M-27325-2023 - 2 - Officer/ Investigating Officer. However, it is further directed that the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when so required by the Investigating Officer. He shall not contact any person associated with the case to dissuade him from the investigation in any manner whatsoever and nor shall leave the country without prior permission of the Court. He shall further comply with the conditions stipulated in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C." It is informed by learned State counsel that the petitioner has joined the investigation, in compliance of the order dated 29.05.2023 and is no longer required for further investigation. In view of the aforesaid, the order dated 29.05.2023, whereby the petitioner was granted interim anticipatory bail, is hereby made absolute. However, he shall continue to join investigation, if and so required by the Investigating Officer.
