**** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to approach the Registrar Cooperative Societies, Punjab for the claim which has been raised in the present petition at the first instance. Counsel for the petitioner apprehends that as the petitioner was pursuing this remedy since 2013, his claim might not be entertained by the respondents at this stage.

Counsel for respondent No.1 states that apprehension is misplaced. Once the petitioner was before this Court since 2013 by filing the present writ petition, the claim of the petitioner will not be rejected on the ground of delay and will be decided on merits. Keeping in view, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed for.
