*** Learned counsel for the petitioner states that since the petitioner has been granted bail by the Court below, as such he does not want to proceed further with the present petition and he be permitted to withdraw the same, whereas learned State counsel has contended that it appears that petitioner has withheld the information from the trial Court as regards the pendency of the present petition. This is a serious matter. While the present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn, the trial Court be directed to send report as to how bail was granted to the petitioner when a petition for regular bail was pending in this Court. The Registry is directed to put up the papers when the report from the trial Court is received.
