(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.81 dated 15.06.2014 registered under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC (with Section 34 IPC added lateron) at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 15.03.2017 of this Court, the parties appeared before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 30.03.2017 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Malerkotla, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.79 dated 18.04.2017 duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Sangrur vide Endst. No.2432/EB dated 20.04.2017.

According to the report, learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Malerkotla, is satisfied that parties have entered into compromise genuinely, Ravinder Singh 2018.07.18 08:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document voluntarily, without any coercion or undue influence. Considering the report of learned Judicial Magistrate, Malerkotla,

-2CRM-M-8687 of 2017 and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony in relations between the parties, FIR No.81 dated 15.06.2014 registered under Sections 323, 324, 148, 149 IPC (with Section 34 IPC added lateron) at Police Station Amargarh, District Sangrur, is hereby quashed, subject to payment of costs of `10,000/-, out of which `6,000/- shall be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority and `4,000/- with the Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.

List on 23.8.2018 for production of receipt with regard to deposit of aforesaid costs.
