**** MANJARI NEHRU KAUL , J. (Oral) Due to the outbreak of pandemic COVID-19, the instant case is being taken up for hearing through video conferencing. This the second petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of concession of interim bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 302, dated 14.05.2020, under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (in short 'the NDPS Act'), registered at Police Station City Sirsa, District Sirsa.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of the instant petition, mother of the petitioner, who was suffering from cancer has expired on 12.9.2020, therefore, the petitioner be extended the concession of interim bail so that he could perform certain rituals and last rites of his deceased mother.

Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Vijender Singh has confirmed the death of the petitioner's mother on 12.9.2020. Heard.
