(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.36, dated 14.09.2021, registered at Police Station Punjab State Cybercrime Police Station, SAS Nagar, Mohali, under Sections 420, 120-B IPC and Sections 66(C) & 66(D) of Information Technology Act, 2000 (P-4) on the basis of compromise (P-5).
Pursuant to orders dated 08.07.2022, 21.11.2022, 20.01.2023, report dated 09.02.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, SAS Nagar, Mohali, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any coercion and undue influence.
In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.36, dated 14.09.2021, registered at Police Station Punjab State Cybercrime Police Station, SAS Nagar, Mohali, under Sections 420, 120-B IPC and Sections 66(C) & 66(D) of Information Technology Act, 2000 (P-4) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
