The petitioner who is working as Principal in a Government School in Haryana had served from April 2012 to October 2015 in a School at Darbaripur, which as per Transfer Policy fell in Zone-I. Subsequently, the petitioner served from October, 2015 to September, 2017 in Caterpuri which was also in Zone-I. However, subsequently by way of an amendment of the Zoning Policy in 2020 both these stations are classified as Zone-II stations. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of aforesaid change in classification, the petitioner as of now is unable to apply for other Zone-II stations which were earlier available to her as she has already put GAURAV SOROT 2020.09.07 16:59 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CWP-13774-2020 more than 5 years in the earlier classified Zone-I stations. It has been submitted that the aforesaid change of zoning as made in the year 2020 should not have retrospective effect to the detriment of the employees and that she should be permitted to apply for all the stations which were available in Zone-II prior to amendment made in 2020. It has been submitted that although she has moved representation dated 25.7.2020 (Annexure P-3) to the Director of Secondary Education, Panchkula, Haryana but to no avail.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and while refraining from making any expression as regards merits of the case, the petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director of Secondary Education Haryana Shiksha Sadan, Sector-5, Panchkula to look into the matter and to dispose of representation dated 25.7.2020 (Annexure P-3) in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of 15 days from receipt of copy of this order.
