(Oral) This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, (BNSS), 2023 in FIR No.253 dated 19.04.2025 under Sections 406, 420 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar Thanesar, District Kurukshetra.

Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the complainant had entered into an agreement to sell with co-accused Varinder Singh and had paid money to Varinder Singh but the sale deed in favour of the complainant had not been executed. The petitioner working in the office of coaccused Varinder Singh on salary basis, has been falsely implicated in this case while no specific role has been attributed to her in the FIR as well as in the reply dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-6). Learned Senior counsel also submits that the case is of civil nature and the petitioner has not accepted any amount from the co-accused Varinder Singh.

This Court, vide order dated 02.05.2025, had directed the petitioner Sonia Puri 2025.07.25 18:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-23785-2025 -2to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of her arrest, she was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) BNSS.

Learned State counsel on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation. 5.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 02.05.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482(2) BNSS. She shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
