By way of present petition filed under Section 482 CrPC, prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No.2-4 for conducting fair and expeditious investigation in case FIR No.4 dated 05.01.2023 registered under Sections 326,324, 323, 427, 148 and 149 IPC at P.S. City Zira, Ferozepur.

Upon advance notice Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. D.A.G. Punjab on instructions from ASI Satwant Singh, P.S. Zira, Ferozepur submits that investigation is in progress wherein two of the accused namely Harnek Singh and Gurlal Singh have been prima facie found to be innocent whereas one accused namely Pradeep Singh has joined investigation who has been later released on bail under the orders of District and Sessions Judge, Ferozepur though two of the accused are still on run regarding all sincere efforts are being made by the Investigating Agency to nab them and to make them join investigation. In view of the aforesaid, present petition is disposed of with a direction to official respondents to conclude the investigation in the afore-mentioned FIR within a period of eight weeks from today and submit the final report before the Illaqa Magistrate immediately thereafter.
