MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (Oral) This petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed inter alia for a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to investigate into the matter and to take appropriate action against respondents No. 4 to 6 in accordance with law. It is submitted that respondents No.4 to 6 have committed cheating and fraud with the petitioner on the pretext of installation of Net House Unit with the assurance that they will get released the 50% subsidy against the loan amount from the Government of India. But, nothing of the sort has been done. It is further submitted that various representations (Annexures P5 to P9) were submitted by the petitioner to respondents No. 2 and 3, but no action has been taken by the police authorities till date. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at this stage submits that a direction be issued to the police authorities for taking a decision on the Rupinder Kaur 2019.05.30 10:05 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document representations submitted by the petitioner.
CRM-M-24972-2019 [ 2 ] Keeping in view the limited prayer addressed by the petitioner, facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana (respondent No.2) to look into the representations made by the petitioner and take appropriate action if any/as may be required, in accordance with law.
