CRM-18785-2026 This is an application under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 filed by the applicant, whereby amendment of prayer clause in the instant petition has been sought.
For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed. Word 'regular bail' be substituted and read as "interim regular bail" in prayer clause.
CRM-M-23301-2026 The petitioner, who is facing trial for the commission of offence punishable under Sections 15-61-85 of Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act 1985, vide FIR 344 dated 22.10.2020, Police Station Ellenabad, District Sirsa, is in custody.

CRM-18785-2026 IN/& CRM-M-23301-2026 (O&M) ground that his son, namely 'Jassi Singh' expired on 16.04.2026 and he has to perform rituals and to immerse the ashes of his son. 3.
The learned State counsel has submitted that the claim of the petitioner has been verified, and it has been found that ashes is required to be immersed.

Taking into consideration the above mentioned facts, it is hereby held that being natural guardian, the petitioner has got a justified reason for release on interim bail. However, it shall be appropriate to release him on interim bail for a period of three days, i.e. from 01.05.2026 till 03.05.2026. 5.
Accordingly, without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby allowed and the petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of three days, i.e. from 01.05.2026 till 03.05.2026, subject to the condition of furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of learned trial Court. Once released on bail, the petitioner shall surrender before the jail authority by 5.00 P.M on 03.05.2026.
