The present petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.16 dated 08.02.2026, under Sections 69, 351(2), 316(2), 318(4) and 64 of BNS, 2023 and Section 4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 added later on vide GDR No.27 dated 10.03.2026, registered at Police Station Kotwali Nabha, District Patiala. 2.
Vide order dated 05.05.2026, this Court while granting the concession of interim anticipatory bail directed the petitioner to join investigation.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from Investigating Officer- Mr. Chamkaur Singh, ASI submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required. 4.
In view of above, the petition is allowed. The order dated 05.05.2026 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner, is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall join the investigation as and when called upon to do so by the Investigating Agency and shall abide by the DEEPAK PATWAL 2026.05.29 13:53 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

However, nothing stated above shall be construed as a final expression of opinion on the merits of the case and this order shall not be considered as parity qua any other co-accused. 6.
It is made clear that, in case, the petitioner is found involved in any such activity once again, the present concession so granted shall automatically stand vacated.
