*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI, J. (ORAL) In the present petition, the grievance being raised by the petitioner is that though the petitioner is eligible for grant of compassionate appointment after the death of his father, but the said benefit is not being granted to him and that too without any valid reason.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the grievance raised in the present petition has already been raised through the legal notice dated 13.02.2023, copy of which has been appended as Annexure P-3 and the petitioner would be satisfied in case, time bound direction is given to the respondent to decide the same by passing appropriate speaking order. Notice of motion.

Mr. Pankaj Middha, Addl. A.G. Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. He submits that in case, legal notice (Annexure P.3) has been received in the office of the respondent and the same is pending consideration, it will be decided in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks by passing an appropriate speaking order.

CWP No.11862 of 2023 -2Keeping in view the statement made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of as having been not pressed any longer. Ordered accordingly.
