The petitioner has filed this petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.334 dated 7.11.2008 registered for the offences under Sections 323, 324, 341, 427, 148 and 149 IPC at Police Station Nakodar, District Jalandhar.
I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner and have gone through the record.
The present petitioner as per the order absented himself before the trial Court on 31.7.2017 and he was declared as proclaimed person on 31.8.2018 and since then he has not surrendered before the Court. No cogent ground has been mentioned for such a long absence from the proceedings. As the petitioner has already been declared as proclaimed offender and there is no ground to grant the benefit of anticipatory bail, I do HARPAL SINGH PARMAR 2019.05.31 17:05 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
Cr. Misc. No.M-25514 of 2019 [2] not find any merit in this petition and the same is dismissed. May 31, 2019.
