(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioners and not to harass them and other members of family of petitioner No.2-Krishan Aggarwal at the instance of respondents No.4 and 5 as they apprehend threat to their life and liberty for having married against wishes of their families.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and while noticing that the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 30.8.2020 (Annexure P-5) to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to approach the District Judge concerned within a period of one week from today seeking PANKAJ KAKKAR 2020.09.08 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Meanwhile, respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal shall ensure that no harm is caused to the petitioners. Mr. Karan Sharma, AAG, Haryana, upon whom an advance copy of petition had already been served, shall ensure that a copy of this order is conveyed immediately to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Karnal.
