The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS seeking the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.62 dated 05.03.2025 under Sections 319(2), 318(4), 336(2), 336(3), 338, 340(2), 61(2) of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Division No.5, District Ludhiana Police Commissionerate (Annexure P-1). 2.

Status report dated 08.08.2025 filed by learned State counsel is taken on record.

As per status report, custodial interrogation of the present petitioner is required to ascertain the name of the persons who appeared before the trial Court by way of impersonation and furnished fake sureties. 4.
