CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE KULDEEP TIWARI

Present:

Mr. Saurav Bhatia, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Pardeep Bajaj, D.A.G., Punjab *** KULDEEP TIWARI, J. (ORAL) 1.

The respondent No.4, who was earlier teaching English at Government High Smart School, Takarla, District Nawanshahar, has been sent on deputation but without any replacement being sent by the Department of School Education, Punjab. This has caused grievance to the petitioner and propelled him to institute the instant writ petition for issuance of directions upon the official respondent(s) to either ensure sending a replacement of English Teacher at the school (supra) or to retain the respondent No.4 by cancelling her deputation order. 2.

The learned State counsel, who is in receipt of advance notice, has, on instructions imparted to him by Mr. Shashi Gagg, Assistant Registrar (Legal), Department of School Education, Punjab, assured this Court that, within a week from today, either a substitute English Teacher would be provided at the school (supra) or the deputation order of the respondent No.4 would be cancelled.
