**** The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing of FIR No.24 dated 20.05.2011 under Section 379, 411 and 420 IPC registered at Police Station Khem Karna, District Taran Taran (Annexure P-1). None has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner. This petition had come after hearing on 06.12.2018 and the said order is reproduced below:- "On previous date also, petitioner had gone unrepresented. None is present on his behalf even today. Thefore, it can safely be inferred that petitioner or his counsel is no more interest in pursuing this petition.

Dismissed for want of prosecution."

Thereafter, on 10.01.2019, the following order was passed:- "CM NO.4594 of 2018 This is an application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for restoration of CRM-M-9139-2017, which was dismissed for want of prosecution on 06.12.2018.

There is no justification to restore the main petition. However, in the interest of justice, application is allowd and order dated 06.12.2018 stands recalled, subject to payment of cost of Rs.500/- to be deposited with the Punjab State Legal Services Authority. Accordingly, petition is restored to its original number. Main Case List on 30.4.19 for consideration and for production of receipt."

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Jagdish Singh, submits that the report under Section 173 was presented on 22.10.2012 and the petitioner was declared proclaimed offender on 09.06.2015. In view of the fact that the petitioner is a proclaimed offender, no ground for interference is made out.
