This is a petition for anticipatory bail filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 in case bearing FIR No.12 dated 14.03.2025 under Sections 333, 115(2), 351(3), 191(3), 190, 324(2) of Bharatiya Nayaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 registered at Police Station Payal, Police District Khanna, District Ludhiana.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has caused a danda blow on the toe (concretely- thumb of the foot) of the son of the complainant. The injuries attributed to the petitioner are simple in nature. It is stated that the petitioner is not involved in any other case. 3.

Vide order dated 02.05.2025, this Court had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of BNSS.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner especially when the petitioner having joined investigation, the order dated 02.05.2025 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. 6.

However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 482(2) BNSS. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so.

The petition stands allowed.
