(ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition under Section 438 read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for grant of Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner in the event of arrest in case F.I.R No. 351 dated 03.09.2021, under Sections 120-B, 323, 406, 420, 498-A, 504, 506, 509 IPC 1860 registered at Police Station Model Town, Panipat (Annexure P-1).

Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from Inspector Pardeep Kumar, informs that the petitioner has joined investigation on 24.06.2022. However, the petitioner is not cooperating with the investigating agency and recovery of Rs.14 lacs, as also a mobile phone of the petitioner is yet to be made.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 has pointed out that a compromise dated 23.06.2023 had been arrived at between the parties before the Mediation Centre of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. It is submitted that the petitioner is not adhering to the terms of the said compromise and is in arrears of maintenance of about Rs.7 lacs towards respondent No.2. CRM-M-28761-2022 (O&M) -2 - Accordingly a Contempt Petition (Civil) bearing No. 631-632 of 2024 in Transfer Petition (Civil) Nos. 1943 & 1945 of 2022, was filed by respondent No.2 before the Hon'ble Supreme Court which was last listed yesterday i.e. on 24.09.2024. Learned counsel submits that he does not have instructions as to what transpired in the said Contempt Petition yesterday.

Perusal of the order sheets shows that none appeared on behalf of the petitioner on the last date of hearing i.e. 22.07.2024. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. In view of the submissions made above by learned counsel for the State, as also by learned counsel for respondent No.2, no further directions are required to be issued in the present petition. The present petition stands disposed of.
