CRM-M-9240-2017 The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. RC-5(S)/2012/SCB/CHG dated 12.07.2012 registered for offences punishable under Sections 354, 376, 342, 323, 506, 109, 374, 366A, 365, 372, 418, 420, 468, 471, 217, 218 read with Section 120-B of Indian Penal Code (for short, "IPC"); 3/4/5 of Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act, 1956; 16 of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976; and 23/26 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2000. Heard.

Learned counsel for respondent-CBI submits that after Jitender Kumar 2017.10.10 14:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CHANDIGARH

CRM-M-9240 of 2017 -2recording statement of petitioner under Section 313 Cr.P.C., trial Court has also recorded statements of four defence witnesses. The case is ripe for disposal immediately after the conclusion of defence arguments. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the submission of learned counsel for respondent-CBI but submits that this petition was filed long back and the petitioner, if allowed bail, will be in better position to lead defence evidence.

Keeping in view the fact that the trial is at final stage and can be disposed of immediately after conclusion of defence evidence, I find no reason to allow bail to petitioner at this stage. Dismissed.
