Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.163 of 2016 dated 04.11.2016 under Sections 498A/406/ 323/377/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Women, Faridabad. It is submitted that during the pendency of this petition the matter has been amicably resolved between the parties on 03.04.2017 before the Daily Lok Adalat, Faridabad. Copy of the compromise deed dated 03.04.2017 reflecting the terms and conditions of the settlement between the parties, produced in Court today, is taken on record subject to just exceptions. There are no allegations on behalf of the State that the petitioner is likely to abscond or that he is likely to dissuade the witnesses from deposing true facts in the Court, if released on bail. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances as above, specifically the settlement arrived at between the parties, but without commenting upon or expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is allowed.
