(Oral) The petitioners have approached this Court seeking protection of their life and liberty on the premise that petitioner No.1 has performed marriage with petitioner No.2 against the wishes of parents of petitioner No.2 and other family members and the petitioners are apprehending threat to their life and liberty at their instance. Notice of motion.

Mr. Vikas Malik, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent - State.

Counsel for the petitioners has submitted that a representation was made to the Senior Superintendent of Police Ambala, Haryana (Annexure P5) seeking necessary protection but no action has been taken in the matter.

Without commenting upon correctness or otherwise of the averments set up in the petition, petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned authority (Senior Superintendent of Police Ambala, Haryana) to look into grievance of the petitioners expressed in Mohd.
