*** ANIL KSHETARPAL, J (Oral) The hearing of the case was held through video conferencing on account of restricted functioning of the Courts. The learned counsel representing the petitioner admits that the petitioner society can file a civil suit for the relief claimed. Through this writ petition, the petitioner prays for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.1 and 2 to formulate a proper criteria for management of the vacant land of 20 acres which is blocked in litigation between the Punjab Government and legal heirs of Maharaja of Kapurthala.

In essence, the petitioner claims that the aforesaid land has been taken over by some anti-social elements.

Keeping in view the facts of the case, it is considered appropriate to relegate the petitioner to the alternative remedy of civil suit. Disposed of.

All the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, are also disposed of.
