**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.13 dated 25.02.2020 under Sections 452, 324, 323, 506, 148 and 149 IPC, at Police Station Mallanwala, District Ferozepur, along with all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 09.12.2020 (Annexure P-3), arrived at between the parties. Vide order dated 29.09.2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate had been directed to record the statements of the parties with regard to the genuineness and authenticity of the compromise.

In compliance thereof, the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Zira, has submitted a report, vide letter dated 24.12.2021, which indicates that the parties do not appear before him for recording their statements.
