Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that police instead of investigating FIR No.179 dated 19.12.2016 registered at Police Station Division No.2, Ludhiana, recorded on the statement of petitioner, is pressurizing him to compromise the matter. A representation (Annexure P2) in this regard has been made to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana but no action has been taken so far.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana to look into the representation Annexure P-2 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
