Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after registration of FIR No.178 dated 10.11.2016 at Police Station City Kotkapura, District Faridkot on the statement of petitioner, police is not taking any action against the accused persons, who are pressurizing him to compromise the matter. A representation (Annexure P-3) in this regard has been made to Director General of Police, Punjab and copy of which has also been sent to Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot, but no action has been taken so far.

Without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, Faridkot to look into the representation Annexure P-3 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
