Present petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS for issuance of directions to respondents no.2 and 3 for taking necessary action against the accused persons named in FIR No.14 dated 02.03.2026, under Sections 332(c), 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Handesra, District SAS Nagar, Mohali (Annexure p-1) and to conduct a fair, impartial and unbiased investigation. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that on the complaint of the present petitioner FIR bearing No.14 dated 02.03.2026, under Sections 332(c), 115(2), 126(2), 351(2), 3(5) of BNS, 2023, registered at Police Station Handesra, District SAS Nagar, Mohali, has been registered but till date no action has been taken, even, a complaint was moved by the accused and on that complaint, a DDR has been registered; that the petitioner has moved representations dated 20.03.2026 (Annexure P-2) to MAMTA 2026.05.01 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRM-M-24221-2026 respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, but no action has been taken so far.

On behalf of the State, in pursuance of advance notice, Mr. Anup Singh, AAG, Punjab, appears and submits that in the present case, FIR has been duly registered against the accused persons, who are presently at large, and raids have also been conducted to secure their arrest; that a complaint has also been received from the side of the accused persons, on the basis of which a DDR has been recorded and the same is under enquiry; that appropriate action on the representation submitted by the petitioner shall be taken in accordance with law; and that the investigation shall be concluded expeditiously.

Keeping in view the contentions of the learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, Punjab, to look into the representation dated 20.03.2026 (Annexures P-2) of the petitioners and take action in accordance with law.
