Seeking directions for transfer of investigation in above captioned FIR, the petitioner has approached this Court by filing the present petition under Section 482 CrPC.

I have heard counsel for the parties and gone through the record. 3.

Petitioner seeks transfer of investigation on the ground that there are serious allegations against respondent no.3, who is officer in charge of Crime Unit, Sector 31, Gurugram, who while misusing his official position, is interfering in the investigation. 4.

State's counsel opposes the prayer and submits that there is no reason to mistrust the police force and the investigation is being done in fair and impartial manner. 5.

Petitioner's counsel submits that for the time being he would be contended and satisfied if the investigation is supervised by any senior officer outside the Crime Branch not below the rank of DySP.

Given the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present petition is partly allowed and it is ordered that investigation in the FIR captioned above be supervised by any ASHWANI KUMAR 2024.05.30 10:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh
