The present criminal writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of a direction to the respondents to grant him parole for a period of four months to complete his internship so as to get the degree of BBA, which is being pursued by the petitioner. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already sent a representation on 07.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) and a reminder dated 24.03.2026 (Annexure P-8) but, the same has not been replied. Hence, the petitioner will be satisfied in case a direction be given to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

Mr. Rahul Rampal, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case representation dated 07.02.2026 (Annexure P-7) and reminder dated 24.03.2026 (Annexure P-8) SANDEEP KUMAR 2026.05.04 17:17 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this order/judgment.
CRWP No.5000 of 2026 (O&M) are still pending consideration with the competent authority, appropriate order on the same will be passed within a period of four weeks of the receipt of copy of this order and in case it is found feasible and permissible, the benefit will be granted otherwise due reasons will be mentioned in the order concerned and the same will be conveyed to the petitioner as well as his counsel.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned counsel for the respondent-State, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 6.
