Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter between the petitioner and respondent No.2 i.e. complainant has been amicably settled vide compromise, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-5.
On behalf of complainant-respondent No.2, Mr. Vishal Munjal, Advocate has put in appearance and endorses the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioner. He submits that he will move application before the trial Court and seek withdrawal of the complaint on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-5).
In view of submission of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is disposed of with liberty to respondent No.2 to move application seeking withdrawal of the complaint on the basis of compromise (Annexure Sachin Mehta 2017.03.21 17:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document HIGH COURT, CHANDIGARH
CRM-M-9403-2017 -2P-5), within two weeks. Till then, any action to take the petitioner in custody because of the fact that he was declared proclaimed offender by the trial Court, shall remain stayed.
