This is a petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking quashing of FIR No.144 dated 01.07.2020 under Sections 365/342/341/323/506/148/149 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Division No.5, District Ludhiana on the basis of compromise, Annexure P/2.

On the last date i.e. 08.09.2020, the learned counsel for the petitioners was directed to place on record a copy of the compromise, since only an affidavit of the complainant had been attached with the petition. Today, Mr. Yogesh Goel, Advocate with Mr. Vimal Kumar, respondent No.2-complainant has put in appearance through video conferencing and has stated that there is no compromise in the matter and, hence, the present petition ought to be dismissed.
