SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has married with respondent No. 5. However, the marriage was solemnized against her wishes, as such, she had to leave her matrimonial house and filed petition under Section 12 (1) (a) of the Hindu Marriage Act, seeking annulment of her marriage with respondent No. 5. Feeling enraged, private respondents are causing threat to life and liberty of the petitioner and regarding this she had already moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda.
Learned counsel for the petitioner confines her relief only for direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to look into her representation dated 07.03.2017 (Annexure P-2) and take appropriate action.
In view of the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner, instant petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda to look into the representation 07.03.2017 (Annexure P-2) and take appropriate action in accordance with law, on receipt of copy of this order along with representation in his office.
