(ORAL) This petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.29, dated 01.05.2022, registered at Police Station Sadar Ropar, District Ropar, under Sections 452, 323, 506, 120-B & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise dated 07.05.2022 (Annexure P-2).

Pursuant to order dated 16.01.2023, report dated 15.03.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Rupnagar, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, without any pressure, coercion or threat.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.29, dated 01.05.2022, registered at Police Station Sadar Ropar, District Ropar, under Sections 452, 323, 506, 120-B & 34 IPC (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioner.
