IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA AT CHANDIGARH
CRM-M-6377-2018 (O&M) Date of Decision: 07.12.2022 Sukhdev Singh and another .... Petitioners
Versus
State of Punjab and another .... Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHOK KUMAR VERMA Present: - None for the petitioners.
Mr. G.S. Sandhu, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. None for respondent No. 2.
Mr. Sunny Saggar, Advocate for applicant-proposed respondent No. 3.
ASHOK KUMAR VERMA, J. (ORAL) On instructions, learned counsel for the State submits that in the present case cancellation report has been prepared by the police on the basis of compromise effected between the parties, but the same is yet to be presented before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Perusal of file shows that on the previous date also i.e. 16.09.2022, the petitioners have gone un-represented. Therefore, it can safely be presumed that the petitioners or their counsel are no more interested in pursuing the instant petition.
Dismissed for want of prosecution.
