Learned counsel would contend that the petitioners had produced the provisional certificate from the University and the same is required to be taking into consideration in terms of the judgment passed by Hon'ble the Supreme Court in Haryana Staff Selection Commission vs. Priyanka and Others, 2021 (4) S.C.T. 80. In such eventuality, the petitioners being higher in merit, are likely to be considered. He thus, at this stage, on instructions from the petitioners, prays that a direction be given to the respondents to consider their claim, keeping in view the aforesaid judgment, in a time bound manner, to which learned State MOHIT 2025.01.15 15:43 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the claim of the petitioners, taking note of the afore-referred judgment, within a period of 2 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Upon doing so, after notice and hearing offered to them and if found entitled, grant the benefit forthwith. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to their interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioners shall be free to seek legal redress thereupon
