The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to re-appoint the petitioner on the post of Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) Political Science, and release his pending salary for February, 2024 and from April 2024 to October 2024. 2.

On the last date of hearing, i.e., 19.05.2025, the following order was passed:

Learned counsel for the respondent no.3, appearing on advance notice, submits that as per instructions the petitioner is not in service with effect from 14.03.2024. His salary for the month of February, 2024 was paid on 02.04.2024, and the remaining due amount from 01.03.2024 to 14.03.2024, has also been paid Seema 2025.05.30 14:25 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

    after deducting the amount of books not returned by him. In case he returns those books even now, the amount deducted on that account will also be paid to him.

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, nor has any counter affidavit been filed disputing the facts aforementioned. Besides, the prayer for re-appointment cannot be considered as there is no challenge to the termination order said to have been passed. 4.

In view thereof, there is no ground to entertain the petition, and it stands dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand(s) disposed of.
