(ORAL) This is a petition that has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.141 dated 24.09.2019 registered under Sections 447, 448 IPC at Police Station Baghapurana, District Moga. Learned counsel appearing for petitioners would contend that an FIR came to be registered on 24.09.2019 and the matter stood investigated, however, despite preparing a cancellation report, which had been approved by the Senior Superintendent of Police Moga on 06.07.2020, the police was not presenting the same before the Illaqa Magistrate. Notice of motion was issued, pursuant to which an affidavit of Surinderjit Singh Mand, PPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga has been filed in Court today. The same is taken on record, a copy of which has been furnished to the counsel appearing for petitioners. As per the affidavit filed, cancellation report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. stands presented before the Magistrate on 12.11.2021 and is now PANKAJ KUMAR 2021.11.30 11:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
